Bita Salehi, a versatile artist and interior designer in Bethesda, Maryland, brings nearly three decades of experience and authentic artistic intuition to cater to discerning clients in the vibrant DC Metro Area.

Bita's artistic journey began in childhood when she adorned walls with layers of paints and murals.  At 12, her passion for art and design solidified as she won a school art project while temporarily residing in Norway. By 19, Bita participated in various art exhibitions while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Azad Art and Architecture University in Tehran, Iran. Subsequently, upon moving to the US, Bita embarked on her design journey, driven by years of diverse experiences in the design industry. Pursuing a Master's in Interior Design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington DC, she earned the prestigious Design Excellence award in 2009. After a few years with leading architectural firms in Washington, DC, she initiated her journey as the founder of ii DESIGN STUDIO LLC.

Bita's boutique design studio is dedicated to maintaining high standards in the caliber of its work and ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Her mission is to design spaces prioritizing efficiency and productivity, fostering healthy and joyful living and working environments for her community.

Residing in Bethesda, Maryland, Bita enjoys life with her husband, delightful daughter, and charming Havanese. In her leisure moments away from art and design, she finds solace in travel adventures, savoring her favorite coffee, indulging in music, biking, hiking, skiing, and occasionally entertaining her intellect with Sudoku!

Bita is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers and the International Interior Design Association.
